Kundalini Yoga

Regular practice of Kundalini Yoga merges your Emotional, Physical and Spiritual body. The Chakras (etheric centres) along the spine are activated when the postures is practiced for up to three minutes . These postures can be standing, sitting, lying or inverted, the arms are held in different angles, 20, 30, 60 degrees to activate the meridians and accupressure points. The postures encourages the flow of energy around the body, to enables the body to heal and transform through innate intelligence.

The session is for students with medical condition, disability or those who wish to develop flexibility and confidence in yoga postures. The session will gently lead you to develop flexibility, make friends and learn yogic and breathing techniques to keep you healthy. You will be able to practice on Yoga Mat or on Chair.

Newham Adult Learning Service - Yoga Classes

The Newham Adult Learning classes are 10 weeks, two hour, weekly classes. They are ideal for any wishing to learn the basics about Yoga from breathing techniques to how to hold the posture, develop stamina, confidence and become healthy. They are suitable for all abilities, especially beginners.


Yoga is a gift to share the process of healing and flourishing on all levels – physically, emotionally and spiritually. Each postures increases self-awareness and empowers us to create the life we love to live. The classes combine movement, breath and the ability to push the boundaries!
